Adamawa State Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta says VISA-free movement for Africans announced by the Rwandan President Paul Kagame will enhance collaboration between Rwanda and Nigeria.
Farauta made the assertion Friday in Yola when she received Rwandan High Commissioner to Nigeria, Ambassador
Christophe Bazivamo, in her office.
Farauta expressed readiness of the state government to partner African counterparts in education and agriculture, saying the government is placing a lot of significance on the agricultural sector, as it is determined to feed its citizens from its agricultural produce.
Speaking earlier, the Rwandan high commissioner to Nigeria had urged Africans to patronize the Kigali International Aberration Centre for dispute resolution which he said is more cost-effective than traveling to UK or America for dispute resolution.
He said Africans for a long time had signed agreements in area of mining and agriculture, but spend a lot on traveling outside the continent to settle disputes that arise.
“When disputes arise, they are settled in America or elsewhere. Actually, Africans are lossing a lot in terms of traveling for dispute resolutions in America and UK,” the Rwandan high Commissioner said.
