Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, CON, has approved the appointment of Professor Abdullahi Liman Tukur as the Director General of the newly established Adamawa Renewed Hope 226 Movement (ARH 226 M).

The organization functions as a political mobilization framework designed to build support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) across Adamawa State and nationally ahead of the 2027 general elections. The platform aligns with the broader national socio-political initiative under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

Congratulating Professor Tukur on the appointment, Governor Fintiri expressed full confidence in his capacity to lead the platform toward achieving its strategic objectives.

“Professor Abdullahi Liman Tukur brings to this assignment an impeccable academic pedigree, proven leadership qualities, and a deep commitment to democratic ideals,” Governor Fintiri stated. “His wealth of experience in governance, scholarship, and grassroots mobilization made him the right choice to drive this critical assignment.”

The Governor added that Professor Tukur’s administrative experience and public service background will play an essential role in uniting party members, political stakeholders, and the electorate across the state.

As part of his initial mandate, the incoming Director General is tasked with coordinating efforts alongside party leaders, local stakeholders, youth organizations, and women’s groups to expand the reach of the movement throughout all 21 Local Government Areas of Adamawa State.

The announcement was officially communicated in a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Humwashi Wonosikou, who confirmed that Governor Fintiri urged all APC members and supporters across Adamawa to grant Professor Tukur their complete cooperation to ensure party unity and victory in upcoming electoral cycles.
