Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has sworn in eight new permanent secretaries, urging them to move the state forward.
Speaking during the swearing-in ceremony at Banquet hall of the Government House Yola Monday, Fintiri asked the new permanent secretaries not to be biased in their service delivery.
The Governor, represented by his Deputy, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta, observed that it is essential for the permanent secretaries to note their appointment means call to higher duty.
“It’s essential to note that the oath of office and allegiance you took before God and men, means you agree to be fair to all manners of people.
“Pls accept your posting in good faith and serve the state as your own constituency without bias,” the governor said.
Responding on behalf of her colleagues, Mrs Melody Pwambodi Herman promised to put in their best.
Appreciating government for finding them worthy,
Herman pledged their commitment and unreserved loyalty to the PDP administration.
Those sworn are Ladi Baba Hamza, Emmanuel Iliya Tapasha, Mohammed Tukur, Hassan Maude Modibo, Syndana Dada, Mercy Ornan Dauda and Mohammed Awwal Ibrahim and Mrs Melody Pwambodi Herman
The oath of office and allegiance was administered by Barrister Isuwa Misali for the state Attorney General.
