Adamawa state Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta has thanked Dr Linah Markus, Permanent Secretary in her office; Mr Anthony Ignatius, Auditor and Mohammed Hamawa a driver for giving successful service to the state government

Speaking over the weekend in her office during a send-off ceremony in honor of their retirement, Farauta thanked God for sparing their lives to witness a milestone achievement in their service career.

She encouraged them not to stay idle after their retirement as they begin new chapter of living without monthly salary.

She urged the gathering to always see reason to thank God for his sufficient grace, protection, mercy and love.

“It is better you engage in things that will keep you healthy even after retirement,” she advised them.

She comemded dedication of the retirees to duty and passion for the job, which according to her has impacted greatly on the management and staff.

Other speakers thanked Dr. Linah and the two others for their mentorship and service to the state, wishing them a happy and fulfilling retirement life.

They tasked other staff to emulate the outgoing permanent secretary’s attitude of discipline and excellence.

The celebrants described the day as a defining moment, thanking governor Fintiri for finding him worthy to serve as a permanent secretary, extending same commendation to the deputy governor for her motherly care.

He thanked those who find time to honor them as they bow out of service, assuring to always be available to render service whenever the need arises.
