The Adamawa state Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta has prayed for the love of Jesus Christ to continue binding churches across the country for them to set aside all differences and unite for promotion of the gospel.
Speaking Sunday in Michika, at the 10th remembrance, book lunch and foundation unveiling in loving memory of late Rev Bulus Zira Filli held at EYN church, she urged christians to remain united in preaching the gospel.
“I want thank the family of Filli, that brought us together to remember the good work of late Rev Zira.
“We have leaved as one family with the families because of the love of Christ.
“I pray that the love of Christ will continue to bind us together’
“My hope for this foundation is that, it will raise young men and women for Christ.
“My prayers for this foundation is to raise children, that would be like Baba Filli in his generation
“My prayers is that, for every child that goes through this foundation will leave to testify the goodness of God”.
According to her, there was need for all churches to unite in moving both the country and the faith forward.
Introducing the book, Rev Toma Rangjiya, asked the congregation to always imbibe the spirit of reading the Holy Bible in their life.
Rangjiya, stressed the need to of putting Jesus Christ first in any activities spiritually to tackle prevailing challenges
He urged them to learn to plant trees to address climate change.
Book viewer Joseph Kwaji said
the late Clergyman started envigelism in 1951, when he led a team to establish mission centre in Borno state, which now has became first missionary center for ‘Kamwe’ communities.
Kwaji pointed out that, the book preaches forgiveness and relationship to succeed as minister of God
He stressed that the 200 page containing 12 chapters expressed the primary virtue of EYN church, expressed by the missionaries which storied life positive impact inspiration purpose and documents for the late evangelist
The book was dedicated by the EYN President Rev Dr Daniel Mbaya who was represented by the vice president of the church.##
