The Fufore Local Government Ward Coordinators of Distinguished Senator Aminu Iya Abbas of Central Senatorial District (PDP) have passed a vote of confidence on the Senator on his quality representation at the National Assembly.
They also passed a vote of confidence on Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and noted with appreciation on all the efforts put together so far particularly in sustaining the development strides he earlier established during his first tenure.
The Coordinators also passed a vote of confidence on local government Steering Committee Chairman of Aminu Iya Abbas in Fufore Alhaji Bamanga Yahya Nuhu for running an open door policy in piloting the affairs of the senator.
They overwhelmingly passed a vote of confidence on the entire leadership of Steering Committee of Senator Aminu Iya Abbas under its Director General Alhaji Usman Muhammad Kaura on the existing purposeful leadership.
They spoke during a surprise visit to the committee Chairman in Fufore, the local government headquartes on Sunday.
The coordinators notably pointed out the recent motions raised on the floor of the Red Chamber by Senator Aminu Iya Abbas on the need to dredge River Benue and Dasin Hausa Dam, sponsoring of tertiary institutions establishment bills, offsetting students school fees, palliative distribution, among others in the zone.
The coordinators therefore urged the committee to sustain the tempo and appreciate in no small measure the efforts of Senator Aminu Iya Abbas.
It further urged closer working ties between the senator and government of the state to carry the state to higher levels.
