Adamawa State government has described the death of Professor Mu’azu Hammadikko as a great loss to the entire state and county at large.
State Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta who expressed government heartfelt condolences to the family of Professor Muazu Hammadikko Gaya, said government, and people of Adamawa are saddened with the demise of a reknown scholar
Gaya died in the early Thursday morning at the age of 62
Farauta during condolence visit to the deceased house in Girei local government area saturday prayed to Allah to grant him Jannatul Firdaus.
“On behalf of government and people of Adamawa I extend deepest condolences on the passing of away of a reknown scholar.
“On behalf of my principal Governor Ahmadu Fintiri we prayed God to forgive his shortcomings, grant him paradise and give his loved ones the strength to bear this loss,”.
The deceased until his death is Professor in the department of Operations Research
Modibbo Adama University Yola
He was the immediate past Director of Academic Planning of the university.
Late Professor Gaya was laid to rest in his hometown of Gaya, Hong LGA of the state.
Barrister Dunama Azura, who received the Deputy Governor and her entourage, thanked her for identifying with the family of the deceased during moment of grief.
The deceased is survived by two daughters, a wife and brothers and sisters.
