Farauta Canvasses Synergy Between Adamawa University, SANU

Government House

Adamawa State Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta has advocated for a harmonious working relationship between the management of Adamawa State University Mubi and the unions for desired results.

Farauta made the call Friday when a delegation of the Senior Staff Association of Nigeria Universities SANU, ADSU chapter led by its chairperson Bifam Yakubu paid her a thank you visit.

Professor Farauta drew the attention of SANU officials on the effect of being at logger heads with the management, saying it is counterproductive.

While thanking them for the visit in acknowledgement of the developmental projects championed by Governor Fintiri led administration in the institution, she advised them to see value in amicable resolution of any issues.

She highlighted the advantage of appointing the vice chancellor from within and expressed hope that the new management will build on the successes recorded in the citadel of learning.

Earlier, the chairperson SANU of the Adamawa state university, Bifam Yakubu, on behalf of the non-academic staff, said their visit was in appreciation of the positive changes in the institution.

They commended Governor Fintiri for prioritizing education and appointing a vice chancellor from within.

The SANU officials pledged their resolve to support the government and the new management led by the vice chancellor Professor Clement Augustine in rebuilding and reshaping the university.
