Again Farauta Urges Parents To Enroll Children In School
Adamawa Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta has again asked parents to enroll their children to school as well place premium on education as bedrock for sociatal development
Farauta spoke at the Lutheran church of Christ Nigeria 2025 centenary annual national convention held in Numan local government area.
She said that the development of contemporary governance structure was rooted on education, hence the need for children to be in school.
The 2025 centenary convention with a theme: “Unity in Christ Jesus”, affords an opportunity for the faithful to worship together, and chart a new course for the spiritual and physical growth of the church.
She appreciated faithful for their prayers which he said is pivotal to the achievements and peace enjoin in the state.
The governor advised them to take advantage of free education policy of his administration, emphasizing that education is the greatest asset one can bequeath a child, a panacea for productive life.
While warning against the abuse of social media the Deputy Governor harps on the need for social media users to use it positively to better their lives and for the development of the society.
She also urged faithful to utilize government empowerment initiatives among other interventions across sectors such as agriculture among others to better their lives.
The Bishop of LCCN Rt. Reverend Nelson Malau in a charge, explained that the rich history of unity across ethnicities, tribes and languages is a testament to the church’s deep roots in fostering unity, and brotherhood.
He thanked governor Fintiri for his enormous support to the church and impactful leadership in the state through championing people oriented projects.
Rt. Reverend Malau said the church remains focus on leading followers to Christ, which can be accomplished through discipleship, church planting and multiplying of churches through home cells, mission, evangelism among others.
The clergyman also used the centenary convention to call for transparency and accountability among Christian leaders, even as they pray fervently for the church, and the nation for peace, unity, development and economic prosperity.
In a message, Dean Reverend Nuhu Tonkloso admonished Christians to repent from their sinful acts, warning that sin will separates one from God.
Haven informed the faithful that the Holy ghost baptism cannot come upon a sinner, the clergyman emphasized on separation and Holy living, urging them to live a righteous and Holy life.
There was a cutting of the centenary cake.
