The International Association of World Peace Advocates of the United Nations Peace Volunteer has confered award chartered fellowship award of Eminent Peace Ambassador on Adamawa state Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa Farauta.
The award recognized her role in champion of implemention of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), was based on her qualification to all rights and privileges binding the organization and also expected function as a peace maker in any part of the world with regards to declaration on the right of people in peace (1984) of the United Nations resolution.
The award which signed by Ambassador Per Stafsen President World Peace Denmark was presented to the Deputy Governor by Director Special Nominees Ambassador Dr Jerry Abiri on behalf of the president.
Abiri said the award was based on the deputy governor’s contributions Peace building, education and mentorship of the younger ones
He added “Your contributions in the academia has really mentored young people to greater heights”.
In her remarks, Deputy Governor,. Professor Kaletapwa Farauta, said the award would spur her to do more in advocating for peace, where children can grow to become heros.
Farauta added that, the award is clear indication that whatever she does some eyes are watching.
‘I want to let you know that, wherever I find myself, I have to ensure that, am a peace a peace maker in whatever situation.##
