The Senator Representing Adamawa Central Senatorial District at National Assembly, Senator Aminu Iya Abbas, has congratulated Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, on the conferment of the Award of Excellence in Public Service on him by the President.
In a statement by through his Media Office in Yola Sunday, Senator Iya Abbas, hailed Fintiri for his outstanding performance in the Urban Renewal Project and other key areas like Education, Health, Youth and Women Empowerment among other developmenal projects across the state.
According to him, Fintiri has transformed Adamawa with various life-changing projects embarked upon by his administration from 2019 to date.
He further stated that governor Fintiri’s giant strides in Adamawa were visible to all, adding that the “FRESH AIR” Administration had performed superlatively for the state and country, and, therefore, deserved to be honoured with the prestigious award.
“On behalf of my family, the people of Adamawa Central, I congratulate the “Architect of New Adamawa”, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, CON on his well-deserved honour.
“Since your emergence as Governor of Adamawa, you have left no stone unturned in your quest to bring unprecedented infrastructural and human capacity development in both rural and urban areas and people of Adamawa can attest to that.
“On another remarkable occasion of your recognition by the Presidency, I join your political associates, family, friends and well-wishers to thank Almighty God for your life,” Abbas stated.
Fintiri was on Saturday 6th July, 2024 at the Presidential Villa Abuja, accompanied by “WHO IS WHO” from Adamawa including Senator Aminu Iya Abbas bestowed with the distinguished award in Infrastructure Delivery in recognition of his outstanding accomplishments in the development of State
