The Speaker of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley has congratulated the Muslim Ummah as they commence the 2024 Ramadan fast.
Rt. Hon. Bathiya, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Hyellamada Bernard, urged Muslim brothers and sisters to use the period to pray for Allah’s Intervention in the current hardship Nigerians are passing through.
The Speaker noted that Ramadan is a period of abstenance hence the need for the ummah to pray for peace and unity of the state and the country as a whole.
While wishing the umah a successful and blissful Ramadan fast, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley maintained that it is a period they should show love to one another.
He charged the people to shun vices that are enemical to the growth and development of the state
