Fintiri Assures Conducive Atmosphere For NYSC Members

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has promised conducive atmosphere for corp members deployed to Adamawa state

Speaking during swearing in ceremony of 1,860 Batch ‘B’ Stream two corp members at Damare orientation camp, the governor promised continued payment of N10,000 allowances to cushion their hardship

The governor, represented by his Deputy Professor Kaletapwa Farauta, urged them to reciprocate the gesture by being disciplined and hard working

“As corp members, you are automatically bona fide indigenes of Adamawa state.

“This is a privilege confered on you by me as as the number one citizen and Executive Governor of the
state,” the governor said.

The governor urged them to identify themselves positively with the yearning as aspiration of the people at their various Places of Primary Assignments.(PPA).

He tasked corps members on skills acquisition and entrepreneurship training to enable them be self reliant and employers of labour, rather than job seekers.

Earlier in his address, the state coordinator National Youth Service Corps Ateli Samson acknowledged the approval of governor Fintiri for the renovation and construction of camp facilities damaged by rainstorm, and augmenting the feeding of corps members and camp officials.

Others include; 10,000 monthly allowance to all corps members serving in the state among numerous others, saying his generosity is unquantifiable.

He reiterated the NYSC and corps members collaboration, support, and cooperation to the present administration.

The coordinator said orientation course is meant to prepare them physically and mentally for their expected contributions to the progress and development of the state and the country at large in the service and post service year.

The state chief judge Justice Hafsat Abdulrahman, represented by Justice Ishaku Yakubu administered the oath of allegiance on the corps members.
