In Line with the Resolution Passed by the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria, Speaker of the 8th Adamawa Assembly, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley has announced the composition of a new House Standing Committee on Nutrition and Food Security.
The speaker who presided the resumed plenary announced the Assembly’s Deputy Majority Leader and Member Representing Maiha Constituency Hon. Ah Jingi Belel as Chairman of the new committee.
Bathiya Wesley also announced the Majority Leader of the House, Hon. Mrs Kate Raymond Mamuno of Demsa, Hon. Suleiman Umar Alkali of Yola North, Hon. John Alaba of Uba Gaya and Hon. Barr. Umar Bobboi Ismail of Fufore Gurin Constituency as members of the committee.
The Speaker while congratulating the committee members on their additional responsibility also charged them to work with other relevant authorities towards justifying the confidence reposed in them.
