Adamawa state Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa Farauta on Saturday
advised newly wedded Dr Waffa and his wife Lami to love one another for the rest of their lives.
Farauta who served as the guest of honor during the wedding ceremony of Dr Waffa son of Augustina Wandhamiya. Commissioner for Finance and Budget and his wife Lami at Mahmud Ribadu Square, wished the couple a blissful marriage, while urging them to be patient with one another.
In her words, “I wish the newly wedded couples a blissful marriage. It is important they seek God’s support and avoid third party. To every family, we need one another, that is very important.”
Expressing her words of joy, Augustina Wandhamiya, the groom’s mother, said the wedding of her son is long awaited happiness for the family.
Wandhamiya urged her son to take up his responsibility of his wife as a husband.
“It has been long time I wanted him to marry. To God be the glory, today he got married to the wife of his choice. I am grateful.
“I pray he (Waffa) lives in peace with his wife by loving each other. He should also take responsibility of his wife as a husband,” she added.
Commissioners of finances from Imo, Kaduna, Taraba, Plateau, Edo and members of professional women accountants in Nigeria attended the wedding.
