Adamawa APC Youth Leader Cautious Youths Against Planned Protest, Calls For Unity Among Diverse Groups

The Adamawa State Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Hon. Abubakar Abubakar (Babatsoho), on Monday appealled to youths across the State Irrespective of party affiliation to shun planned nationwide protest. 

Abubakar, made the appeal in an interactive session with some youth groups shortly after a meeting in Yola, on the proposed nationwide protest, Saying that national unity is above personal/political interest. 

He further, urged youths and other political pressure groups in the country to shelve the planned protest and support the good policies and programs of President Bola Tinubu for the overall development of the Nigeria.

The APC youth leader said there’s need for Nigerians to support the President’s efforts towards building a better country for all, adding that, citizens must put national stability over everything. 

Abubakar said he would continue consultating various youth groups in Adamawa State on the need to stand on the decision of not participating in the planned protest.

While saluting well meaning Nigerians for continues enlightenment on the need for national unity among diverse religious, ethnic and political groups also commended the Adamawa State Government and leaderships of major political parties in the state for distancing themselves from the planned protest.

Abubakar Abubakar also used the medium and called on the security agencies in the state and the country as whole to ensure the protection of lives and properties of the citizenry at all levels. 

He further also applauded the National Security Adviser Malam Nuhu Ribadu and Minister of Education Professor Tahir Mamman SAN, for their proactive measures toward ensuring peace and stability of the country. 

The youth leader described the recent visit by Minster of Education Professor Tahir Mamman in Adamawa and calling for the provision of adequate protection to students in the institutions of higher learning across the country as commendable.
