The Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly Rt Hon Bathiya Wesley has congratulated Muslim ummah for successfully seeing the end of this year’s Ramadan fast.
The Speaker in a statement signed by his chief press secretary Hyellamada Bernard said the sacrifice made during the period is a true reflection of submission to Allah as one of the five pillars of Islam.
He called on the faithful to sustain the lessons of humbleness, love and sacrifice which was demonstrated during this period.
According to the statement, sustaining the lessons of ramadan will go a long way in promoting love and unity among the citizenry.
Rt Hon Bathiya Wesley while wishing the entire ummah happy Eid el fitir celebration, called for continued prayers for peace and unity of the state and the country as a whole.
He assured citizens that the 8th Assembly under his leadership will continue to sustain legislative harmony with the executive arm for the progress and development of the state
