The Speaker Adamawa state House of Assembly Rt Hon Bathiya Wesley on behalf of the Adamawa State House of Assembly, warmly felicitate with our Muslim brothers and sisters in Adamawa State, Nigeria, and beyond on the occasion of the celebration of Maulud Nabi, commemorating the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
The Speaker in a press statement issued by his chief press secretary Hyellamada Bernard said this auspicious occasion provides an opportunity for us to reflect on the noble life, teachings, and exemplary character of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW), particularly his virtues of peace, compassion, tolerance, justice, humility, and love for humanity.
As we celebrate this significant occasion, the Speaker urge the Muslim Ummah to uphold the teachings of the Prophet by promoting peaceful coexistence, unity, mutual respect, and understanding among people of different faiths and backgrounds.
These values according to the statement are essential to the continued peace, stability, and development of our dear State.
Rt Hon Bathiya Wesley also call on all citizens to continue supporting the efforts of government and other stakeholders toward building a peaceful, prosperous, and inclusive Adamawa State.
While calling on the ummah to pray for the state and the country also pray that may Almighty Allah accept the acts of worship and grant us peace among the citizens.
