Deputy Gov FarautaGraces Prof Apagu’s Funeral Service

Adamawa state Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta has described the legacies of late Professor Vanduhe Vandu Apagu as worthy of emulation.

Farauta during her condolence message at the funeral service of the deceased held at the Church of the Brethren in Nigeria (EYN), Federal Housing Estate eulogized the deceased as peace loving.

She appreciated the contributions of the deceased to her academic success, urged the bereaved family to drive comfort in their late father who has left a mark in the lives of those who crosses his path.

She described him as a pillar, mentor, quiet type and a peace lover, praying the deceased to have eternal rest.

The Deputy Governor, also prayed God to fill in the vacuum he left behind, advising the family to learn his virtues and build on it.

Other sympathizers in their condolences messages described the death as great loss to Modibbo Adama University community.

The preacher pastor Timothy Yunana reminded the congregation that everything has a season as enshrined in the scriptures, urging them to utilize their days wisely.

The clergyman advised the faithful to live a life pleasing to God while still alive, for death awaits every mortal.

Late professor Vanduhe Vandu Apagu was born on 7th August, 1959 and died on 8th April 2026 at the age of 67.

He is survived by a wife, three children and four grandchildren.
