As part of its broader mission to provide quality education to underprivileged children in the society, the Iya Abbas Foundation has pledged to complete the construction of two class rooms at Arrayhan for Qur’anic Memorization and Islamic Studies Uba, Hong Local Government Area of Adamawa State, North East, Nigeria.
The Foundation also announced the donation of 50,000 Naira to each of the 17 graduating students of the institution who memorized the Holy Qur’an.
Speaking during the graduation ceremony of the students at the school premises in Uba, on Saturday a Board of Trustees Member of the foundation Alhaji Tukur Iya Abbas, commended the founders of the school for their contributions towards impacting Islamic Knowledge to the people in the society.
According to him Islam is peace and the way of life, adding that, their unwavering commitment and dedication towards propagating Islmaic education in Uba and its environs is worthy of emulation by other Ulama’s for the progress and development of the society.
While congratulating the graduating students for the successful completion of the memorization of the Holy Qur’an, Alhaji Tukur Iya Abbas urged them to be good ambassador of the Institution wherever they found themselves and make proper use of the knowledge acquired for the benefit of the younger ones.
The Iya Abbas Foundation has been supporting the less privileged through Scholarship, Feeding the Needy, Free Medical Outreach, among other basic needs to the less privileged in Adamawa State.
