Former Minority Leader of the 7th Adamawa State House of Assembly Hon. Muhammad Mutawalli
has commiserated with victims of the recent flood disaster that submerged some communities in Girei and Yola South local government areas.
Hon. Mutawalli who represented Girei constituency from (2015-2019) and (2019-2023) also call on Governments, NGO’s, and other well to do individuals to as matter of urgency provide emergency relief materials to the victims of the flood especially those that are displaced by the flood disaster.
In a message through his media office, Hon. Mutawalli said, the recent flood disaster which wreck havoc on some communities in Girei and Yola South rendered many people homeless and properties worth millions of naira was destroyed while farmers continue counting losses of their farm produces.
According to him worst hit areas in Gieri Local Government are Jera Bonyo, Koh, Nayine and other neighboring communities.
While praying for speedy recovery of those who sustained various degrees of injury also extend condolences to the families of those who lost their lives during the flood in Yola South local government area.
