Adamawa Dep Gov Commends UK Body For Training of Teachers, Pupils

Adamawa Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa Farauta has commended the Universal Learning Solution, United Kingdom for supporting teaching and learning processes in the state

Farauta gave the commendation while addressing the officials led by Vic Poleuktoff during a courtesy visit in her office Thursday.

She said government made education topmost priority in the state even as she appreciated the group for promoting jolly phonics program in the state

“We are greatful for the work you have been doing among our people in the state

“This government has been on purpose for education to be on the front banner.

“We thank you for training our teachers and pupils in the state”.

Earlier, the leader of the delegation, Vic Poleuktoff, appreciated the government of the state for its support and cooperation, leading to the feats achieved in the state, and appealed for sustained partnership

He said the organization has been working in Adamawa for six years and was into Jolley Phoenic, the methodology of teaching children how to read and write.

According to him, they have trained over 11,000 primary teachers across the state as part of efforts to enhance learning and standard of education in Adamawa state.

The delegation presented an award to Governor Fintiri for his visionary leadership.
