Farauta, at Suzan Zira’s Book Launch, Commends Fintiri for Empowering Women
Adamawa state Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa Farauta has commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for giving women opportunity to leverage on and realize their potential.
Speaking at a book launch titled, Dr. Suzan Mark Zira, A Model of Faith and Leadership for Modern African Women’, held at the banquet hall, Government House Yola, Farauta thanked the author and congratulated Dr. Suzan Zira for her achievements.
Unveiling the book, Professor Farauta said the Fintiri administration has given women opportunity to thrive and will continue to support them.
She expressed hope that the book would serve as inspiration to young women.
Chairman of the occasion Adamu Kamale, represented by the Commissioner of Commerce, Trade and Industry Dr. Ishaya John Dabari, expressed optimism that the book would inspire other women.
He described Dr. Suzan Mark as a struggling woman, intelligent, resilient, forthcoming, and hard working.
The author of the book, Roseline Vandi, said she was inspired by the attributes of humility, leadership bravery, passion for God, hospitality and care for others which had left an indelible mark on her.
Dr. Roseline Vandi added that Dr. Mark has been an incredible role model, and her contributions within the family, church, and society are unquantifiable.
The author revealed that the publication is aimed at honouring Dr. Suzan Mark’s contributions and preserving her legacy for generations.
The book reviewer, Dr. Jesse Buba said the book, which consists of two parts and ten chapters, summarizes the impactful journey of Dr. Suzan Mark in all areas of human endeavour.
The celebrant Dr. Suzan Mark said the spirit of being her true self is the secret behind her success.
