Adamawa Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta has hosted group of Pastors from the Truth Foundation Ministry across the 21 LGAs and Taraba state to mark Easter celebrations
Farauta used the event at her official residence to thank God for his mercies, prayers from the Clerics for witnessing another Easter celebration signifying the victory over sin and death which is a source of hope and joy for christians faithfuls.
She equally, thanked the ministry for offering fervent prayers which sustained government, it’s activities and people at large.
She said government depends on God for its successes, prayers from clergymen in moving the affairs of the state.
“We thought the biggest thing we can do is to call ourselves as one big family and appreciate God.
“All what we have come to do is appreciate God for choosing one of us from the church.
She said, “We thank God as a government and as people. It is prayers that are sustaining us.
“We must thank God for choosing me among many to position of the Deputy Governor.
Earlier, The General Overseer, Truth Foundation Ministry Rev Enson Kaford appreciated the Deputy Governor for given them the opportunity to appreciate God.
Rev Kaford offered prayers for peace and tranquility in the land.
Apostle George Dauda in a message centered on “commitment”, tasked the gathering to remain committed to the work of God and His purpose in their lives.
He also tasked them on prayers and commitment to their core values as mission families to inspire generations.
In his remarks Rev. George Farauta, thanked God and the clergymen for making the event possible and wished them journey mercies to their various destination.
In his goodwill message, Rev Godwin Balla asked the gathering to emulate the good virtue of the Deputy Governor in carrying everyone along
Special prayers for spiritual and political leaders, government of Adamawa and Nigeria in general, restoration of peace and tranquility, economic prosperity and development were also offered.
Pastors and church leaders from Truth foundation ministries in Taraba state also attended the program.
