Adamawa state government has partnered the Federal Institute of Industrial Research Oshodi to leverage on its skill acquisition centers for technology training of its citizens.
Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa Farauta stated the support and collaboration in accelerating industrialization and developing technologies that will promote entrepreneurship development in the state.
She said collaboration is aimed at developing technologies that will help locals in processing, drying and preserving their crops.
According to her the partnership is to maximize the training of youths on different skills, noting that together, living a legacy on new innovations for the benefit of the citizens is paramount.
She revealed governor Fintiri led administration’s commitment to supporting federal government developmental projects in the state.
The North-East Zonal Coordinator, Yola office Dr. Ajani Sakirdeen Abidemi said the Institute had created 20,000 jobs, trained over 500,000 on technology as well created 250, technology markets to assist in quickening the pace of industrialization through research and development.

research and development of food and agro-allied processing technologies, research and development into pulp and paper processing, research and development into packaging and product design as well as design and fabrication of equipment prototype.
