Former Member Representing Girei Constituency and Adamawa 7th Assembly Minority Leader, Hon. Muhammad Mutawalli has called on Nigerians to pray for peace and Unity of the country during the holy month of Ramadan.
Hon. Mutawalli who represented Girei constituency from (2015-2019) and (2019-2023) made the call in a message through his media office in Yola on behalf his family, political associates and other support groups to mark the begining of the 2025 (1446 AH) Ramadan.
He said the holy month is a period of sacrifice, prayers and reflection on our attitudes and contributions to nation-building, saying that without peace and unity, we can not achieve any meaningful development.
The former lawmaker also use the medium in congratulating the people of Girei local government, Adamawa state and Nigeria as a whole called on them to unite and love one another irrespective of their religion or tribal affiliations.
