The Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly Rt Hon Bathiya Wesley has congratulated Muslim ummah for seeing the commencement of this year’s Ramadan fast.
The Speaker in a Statement issued by his chief press secretary Hyellamada Bernard said Muslim should use this period for total supplication to the will of Allah in accordance to the teachings of prophet Muhammed Peace be upon him.
He maintained that Ramadan as one of the five pillars of islam, Muslim should embrace peace love and tolerance throughout the holy month.
Rt Hon Bathiya Wesley maintain that Ramadan offers another chance for Muslims to rededicate themselves to the worship of Allah.
He advised that people should use the period for sober reflection and pray for the state and the country as a whole.
