We Dissociate Ourselves From Political Jobbers Showing Support For Ruling Party -AAC

News

The African Action Congress (AAC) has dissociated itself from alleged activities of an organization known as the ‘Forum of National Youth Leaders of All Political Parties in Nigeria (FNLYLPPN)’.

The AAC said in a statement that the group has been deceptively soliciting support for the ruling party, APC, and its anti-poor policies.

In the statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary of the party Femi Adeyeye, on Tuesday, the AAC said that the group has recently been shopping support for the ruling APC towards the forthcoming 2027 general elections.

The statement said, “We have been informed that this organization recently received ₦30 million from government representatives in exchange for a promise that all political parties in Nigeria would declare support for the regime.

“We wish to emphasize that the AAC does not align with such arrangements, as they contradict our principles and values as a party committed to anti-corruption crusading.

“Furthermore, this organization has engaged in impersonation, falsely representing themselves as members of various political parties, including the AAC,” the party said, adding that it has no connection with any of it.

“The AAC is taking immediate action to involve the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and other security agencies to arrest the impersonators and investigate this matter. We will not tolerate this shameful act and demand that it be brought to an end,” the AAC stated.
