Adamawa Appeals For More Slots In Federal Civil Service

Adamawa state Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta, has made passionate appeal for more employment slots for the state in the federal civil services.

Farauta made the appeal during a courtesy visit by the Governing Council College of Education FCE Yola in her office Friday.

She stressed that the governing council should consider citizens from the state as issues of employment in the college is handled by the council members

“When employments are done, always consider the 21 LGAs,” Farauta said, expressing the gratitude of the government to the Governing Council of the FCE appreciating the state government’s support to the college.

The deputy governor assured more support to federal institutions, saying government has placed premium on education for the development of the state.

Earlier, the chairman of the Governing Council, Engr Saheed Johnson Olajide, appreciated Adamawa government for the support during the 15th convocation and 50th anniversary of the college.

The Provost of the College Dr. Mohammed Usman Degereji, Deputy Provost, Hajiya Aisha Kabir, and Registrar Mallam Gidado Ahmad were on the FCE Yola entourage.
