Adamawa state Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta during interface with women vice chair candidates across the 21 local government areas, charged them to ensure Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) wins Saturday’s local government election.
Addressing journalists shortly after the meeting in her office in Yola, Farauta said the the female vice chairmen candidates have agreed to ensure women work acidiously to ensure victory in the forthcoming council elections
She said, “First we have reason to thank God as women who have been brought to this level as deputy governor and vice chairmen.
“We also thank our Governor for being friendly to women. This is why we have reason to meet with one another. We have agreed to go back and ensure every woman works acidiously to ensure PDP wins the council poll.”
She called on people to out enmass to exercise their franchise for continued development of the state.
