Adamawa Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta has charged newly wedded couple: Wandiya Raymond and Favour Godwin Ballah to be guided by biblical injunctions on Godly life.
Farauta who spoke in her capacity as mother to the couple Saturday in Mubi, prayed God to bless their new home.
She asked them to always carry one another along especially imbibing the spirit of love, trust, patience and endurance as exemplified by Jesus Christ.
The deputy governor reminded them that marriage is ordained by God, hence the need for the couple to ensure utmost care and sense of responsibility as they join the marriage institution.
She encouraged Wandiya and Favour to uphold the virtues of prayer and understanding for a happy marital life.
In a message, Pastor Wycliff Abraham tasked the couple on respect and submission to each other.
The clergyman also sued for tolerance and forgiveness for no one is perfect.
The father of the bride Mr Godwin Ballah is a clergyman at Christian Chapel, Adamawa State University Mubi.
