The Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley, on Monday, tasked lawmakers to prioritise the welfare of their constituents.
Rt. Hon. Bathiya, while welcoming his colleagues from Christmas and New Year celebrations, urged them to be committed in meeting the yearnings of the electorate.
He reminded them that their constituents have placed their trust in them, saying it is their duty to honor it by working for the overall development of the constituents.
“Therefore, as we resume our legislative duties today, it is crucial that we prioritize the needs of our constituents to meet their yearnings and aspirations”, Rt. Hon. Bathiya added.
He appreciated Almighty God, for making it possible for them and their constituents to celebrate Christmas and New Year peacefully and in good health.
