Gov Fintiri Appoints Marafan Shelleng, Others As Principal Special Assistants

The Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has approved the appointment of 37 prominent individuals, including Hon Abubakar Isa (Marafan Shelleng) as Principal Special Assistants.

In the list of the fresh appointments released on Friday, the governor also appointed 45 Senior Special Assistants and 21 Special Assistants.

All the appointments take immediate effect.

The Governor, in a Statement through his Chief Press Secretary Mr. Humwashi Wonosikou, said the appointments are in line with Governor Fintiri’s vision to strengthen Government machinery.

All those appointed are expected to forward their curriculum Vitae to the office of the Secretary to the State Government at the State Secretariat on Monday 9th October, 2023 unfailingly.

Reacting on the development, Hon. Abubakar Isa (Marafan Shelleng) the newly appointed Principal Special Assistant to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, said he is short of words to expressed his happiness to the Governor for the show of love he demonstrated him.

“Alhamdulillah!
I am short of words to convey my heartfelt happiness to His Excellency for the show of love he demonstrated to me by this exalted appointment.” He said.

Marafan Shelleng who is the immediate past member representing Shelleng constituency from (2015-2019) and (2019-2023) On behalf of his family, political associates and supporters thanked the Governor and reaffirmed their unflinchingly Loyalty to his Government.

While pledging to justify the confidence reposed in him by the Governor, Hon. Abubakar Isa also prayed Almighty Allah to continue to guide him, give him good health, wisdom and bless his progeny.
