Dep Gov Lauds ECOWAS, Red Cross, Others For Supporting 2,000 Households In Adamawa

Adamawa state Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa Farauta has commended, Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), heads of governments
Red Cross Society of Nigeria and Federal Ministry of Humanterian Affairs for supporting 2,000 households with food item intervention to cushion efforts of hardship on people of the state

Farauta who received the delegation Tuesday in her office assured of government commitment to partner donor agencies in tackling the humanitarian challenges in the state

She lauded the activities of humanitarian actors in the state which she said has continued to complement governments effort.

According to her, the developmental stride been provided for citizens to benefit voting government into power is to make life easy.

“We are going to partner you, so that you can support the state government in tackling humanterian issues.

“We are greatful for extending our gesture to the citizens of the state.

Earlier, the National President of the Nigerian Red Cross Society Mr Oluyesimi Adeaga said they are in the state to identify with government and seek for more partnership, as well as assistance for effective and efficient service delivery.

He said the society deals with humanitarian issues, commending Adamawa state government for being the champions of impactful and progressive government.
