The Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly Rt Hon Bathiya Wesley has congratulated Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, the PDP in the State and all the citizens over the victory at the Court of Appeal.
The Speaker in a press statement through his chief press secretary Hyellamada Bernard, said the judgement by the Court of Appeal in affirming the earlier judgment of the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal has proven that the mandate of the people of the state will not be shortchanged.
The speaker while calling on the opposition to join Governor Fintiri in moving the state forward, said elections are over and it is time for governance in the interest of the entire Adamawa State irrespective of party affiliation.
While calling on the Governor to concentrate on the good work he is doing, Rt Hon Bathiya Wesley assured him of support of the state Assembly in carrying out his constitutional mandate.
