Yola, Nigeria — The Senator representing Adamawa Central Senatorial District and Chairman of the Senate Committee on Innovation, Science, and Technology, Senator Aminu Iya Abbas, has extended his warmest congratulations to Barrister Idris Shaibu on his election as the North East Zonal Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a statement released by his Media Office on Wednesday, Senator Abbas described the outcome of today’s Zonal Congress in Gombe as a “victory for experience, loyalty, and strategic party building.” The Senator also extended his congratulations to all other newly elected zonal officers who emerged during the successful exercise.
Senator Abbas, while celebrating the new Zonal Vice Chairman, took a moment to extoll the exceptional leadership qualities Barrister Shaibu displayed during his tenure as the Adamawa State APC Chairman.
