Murtala Guding football team has won the football competition for the member representing Demsa/Numan/Lamurde federal constituency in the national assembly, organized by his supporters in the area which brought together football teams in Adamawa southern zone.
The final match ended with a penalty kick between Murtala Guding and Nisiri United, Murtala Guding won the game by scoring seven goals against Nisiri United also scored six goals.
The sponsor commended the participants for their sportsmanship and assured the youth that the member house of Reps will provide more opportunities for them to showcase their talent in southern zone.
Rt. Hon Kwamoti B. La’ori appreciated all that contributed to the success of the tournament, as his aim of unity is achieved in the area.
The special guests of honor who were there during the Match included Member House of Reps representing Jada,Ganye Tongo and Mayo-Belwa federal constituency Hon. Mohammad Inuwa Bassi, Mr Daniel Dishon.
Adamawa state PDP Chairman Barr Tahir Shehu, member representing Numan local government area in Adamawa state house of Assembly Hon Pwamwakeno Mackondo, executive chairman of Demsa local government and others.
More than 20 football teams participated in the three-week tournament.
