Majority Leader Commends Gov Fintiri Over Adamawa’s NECO Performance

The Majority Leader, Adamawa State House of Assembly, Mrs. Kate Raymond Mamuno, has commended the state governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and his deputy, Professor Kaletapwa George Farauta, over the performance of Adamawa Students in the recently released National Examination Council (NECO)

The Majority Leader made the commendation in an Interview with the Assembly Correspondent’s in Yola on behalf of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) lawmakers in the 8th Assembly following ranking of Adamawa students as 2nd in the country and 1st in Northern Nigeria in the last NECO 2023 Examination.

The only female lawmaker who is also the chairman house committee on women affairs & social development, also felicitated with the parents in the state as well as teachers and their students for making Adamawa a proud state nationwide.

She said Adamawa State’s second position in NECO nationwide was a confirmation that the Free Education Law that was passed by the state Assembly yielded positive result and that the Fintiri’s educational policy is justifiable.

Hon. Mamuno while congratulating the governor and all other stakeholders who have contributed towards the successes recorded in the education section, she also explained that, the teachers have also done well as they have not let the investments of the Governor in their profession go unaccounted for and salute to them all.

She also commend students for studying well and charged them to continue to take their studies seriously and justify the investments in them, adding that it’s a collective responsibility to put the state on the path of prosperity on all fronts.

“While congratulating the parents in Adamawa, I implore them to continue to support this administration and continue to key into its eight-point agenda as developed by Governor Fintiri as the state Assembly is working tirelessly towards enacting more people-oriented bills,” she said.
