Hon Kallamu Commends Gov Fintiri Over Projects in Mayo-Belwa

The Member representing Mayo-Belwa Constituency in the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Musa Mahmud Kallamu, has lauded Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for initiating transformational projects in Mayo-Belwa.

Hon. Kallamu made the commendation during an inspection tour of key development projects currently being executed in the area.

The lawmaker, accompanied by a team of stakeholders, expressed optimism that the projects, when completed, will significantly enhance development and improve the quality of life in Mayo-Belwa.

As part of Governor Fintiri’s directive for legislators to engage with their constituencies and monitor ongoing projects, Hon. Kallamu inspected several initiatives aimed at fostering growth and economic prosperity.

At the Government Lodge, which is undergoing significant renovations, he expressed satisfaction with the progress and quality of work.

He described the facility’s transformation as a testament to the Governor’s commitment to upgrading public infrastructure.

The team also visited the new General Hospital in Mayo-Belwa, where Hon. Kallamu conducted a detailed walkthrough of the wards, laboratories, and operating theater.

He commended the Governor’s administration for prioritizing healthcare and ensuring modern medical facilities for the community.

At the site of a former farming skill acquisition center, now being transformed into a model school, Hon. Kallamu highlighted its potential to redefine education standards in the area.

He emphasized the importance of modern educational facilities in empowering the youth and fostering development.

The lawmaker further inspected the International Cattle Market, recently handed over to the local government by L-PRESS.

He noted that the market would serve as a central hub for cattle trade, boost economic activities, and create job opportunities for the region.

In a compassionate gesture, Hon. Kallamu visited the operational Cottage Hospital in Mayo-Belwa, where he interacted with patients, offering support and paying off the medical bills of some patients to facilitate their discharge.

He urged the Mayo-Belwa community to continue supporting the present administration to maximize the dividends of democracy.

Several stakeholders, including Mr. Peter Daafe, Musa Yuguda, Sole Administrator Ndikong, and the Leader of Mayo-Belwa Legislative Council, Ashibiyan Bulus, also praised Governor Fintiri for the impactful interventions in the area.

They commended Hon. Kallamu for his dedication and support to the Governor, which has translated into visible progress for the constituency.
