Farauta Pledges Adamawa’s Support for Fed University Of Agriculture Mubi

Adamawa state government has assured its support for the take off of
Federal University of Agriculture, Mubi.

to cater for the growing number of applicants seeking admissions

The state Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa George Farauta who pledged the support on Wednesday
during a visit by the council members of the proposed institution to her office, said the state would support whatever development the federal government is bringing to the state.

“Government is aware that our children are the primary beneficiaries of the university. Whatsoever development federal government is bringing to ensure our children are mopped off the street, we would ensure it succeeds,” the deputy governor said.

She urged federal government to ensure completion of the Yola- Mubi road which connects the state to Cameroon.

Earlier, Dr Rukaiyatu Gurin, Pro Chancellor and Chairman Governing Council of the university, said the team is working to put in place all resources and facilities prescribed by the national university commission NUC.

Rukaiyatu Gurin who said the council members observed poor condition of the existing classrooms, laboratory at the proposed site of the institution, urged the state government to intervene.
