The Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly, Mr.Bathiya Wesley has felicitated with the entire Muslim Ummah in the state on this years Eid-el-kabir sallah celebration
Bathiya who is the member representing Hong constituency also reminded Muslim on the importance of maintaining peaceful coexistence among the diverse religious and ethnic groups for the overall development of Adamawa state
The number one lawmaker in the state in a statement through his Chief Press Secretary Hyellamada Bernard and made available to newsmen in Yola said he is pouring his heart of greetings of love to all Muslim Ummah for this year’s Eid-El-Kabir being celebrated around the world, saying that it is a time of worship to God through the act of sacrifice.
The Speaker also congratulated Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and members of the State Executive Council, other members of the 8th Adamawa Assembly, leadership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and other teeming supporters on the occasion of the 2024 Eid-el-Kabir Sallah Celebration.
He also extended his sallah message to Lamido Adamawa Dr. Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Mustafa and other members of the Adamawa State Council of Emirs and Chiefs, and the Entire Muslim Ummah.
According to him, the celebration is a symbolic and historic religious injunction that showcased the act of obedience and reminded muslim in state to remain obedient to God as they mark the Eid-El-Kabir.
The Speaker also enjoined the muslim faithfuls in the state to specially used the period and pray for Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri to enable him provide more developmental policies and projects to the people of Adamawa state.
