The Deputy Governor of Adamawa state, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta, has condoled her Chief Protocol Officer Mr Zalkuwi Lapuwa over the death of his father-in-law, Mr Wycliff Danbaki.
Danbaki who hails from Guyuk local government area of the state died at the age of 81.
Farauta expressed shock over the sudden demise of the octogenarian, which occurred after a brief illness
Sympathizing with the family of the deceased at Lapuwa’s resident Kasuwan Katako, the deputy governor described death as so devastating that no amount of words can assuage the family’s pain and loss.
The deceased she said had dedicated his life to the service of God and humanity by sense of character impacted positively on the lives of his children and the community.
“I urge you to consider the death as an act of God and take consolation in Him.
The fact that in as much as we love them, God Almighty who alone gives and takes life, need them more,” she said.
Responding on behalf of the family members, Mr Lapuwa thanked the deputy governor for the show of love on the family.
According to the burial arrangements, the corpse will leave Modibbo Adama University Teaching Hospital Yola (MAUTH), on Friday to Guyuk for funeral service and final interment.
