Adamawa state Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta has described as transformation visible in Adamawa state which led to the recent prestigious award for Best Performing Governor in Infrastructure Development on her principal Governor Ahmadu Fintiri.
Fintiri, has received the prestigious Infrastructure Development Award for the second time, solidifying his position as one of the best performing governors in Nigeria.
Speaking at International Praise Day 2024 organized by the International Praise Chapel in Yola Sunday, Farauta thanked the congregation for prayers to ensure right thing is done by the leaders in the state
“I stand to thank everyone on behalf of the Governor, myself and the entire state cabinet.
” Your prayers is relevant, when you give a leader responsibility to carry out.
She asserted that, ” You know what it means for for a Governor to be honored twice by different Presidents under different political parties”.
The deputy governor, urged for concerted supports and continued prayers for the state.
She appreciated people of the the state for sustaining peace at all levels.
The award was presented by Vice President Kassim Shettima on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, which recognizes Governor Fintiri’s outstanding achievements in infrastructure development, particularly in the critical sectors of roads, bridges, healthcare, education, and water supply.
President Tinubu commended the recipients for their well-deserved recognition, stating that “democracy has come to stay in Nigeria, and with the caliber of recipients, there’s hope for the future.” He said.
President Tinubu praised the Governor for their dedication to infrastructure development, emphasizing its impact on the nation’s growth and prosperity.
The award, is a collaborative effort between the Strategic Best Media and the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation,
Diocesan Bishop of Yola, Musa Jarumai urged the congregation to be serious with the spirit of God in all dealings
“If you are drunked with the holy spirit, your action is directed to the lord.
“Your prayers will destroy your enemies.
“There are different ways of praising the Lord in your offices, chickens and your enemies would be destroyed.
The Cleric who was emphatic that praise strengthen the faith as well as active deliverance and closeness to God.##
