Adamawa Deputy Gov Drums Support For PDP

Adamawa Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa George Farauta has vowed not to take the rulling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state for granted for whatsoever reason.

Speaking when she hosted the state Executive Council of the party for Sallah and Easter celebrations at her official residence, Farauta said the journey that saw them through the campaigns añd court cases were successes from the beginning up to the end.

Farauta commended the people of the state for standing firmly with the administration through their prayers.

“We thank the party for all the successes and we don’t take anything for granted,” she said.

Barrister Tahir Shehu, the state chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), said the party is proud to have a deputy governor with a good track records.

According to him, the party brought political office holders that equally brought development to the state.

“The pedigree of the Deputy Governor shows she is more than capable in the performance of her duties. The party and the executives would also maintain mutual relationship at all times,” the PDP chairman said.

He assured of party support at all levels as he appreciated developmental successes in the state.

Alhaji Hamza Madagali, the party’s organizing secretary, said the party is proud of the present administration.

“We feel great over the success recorded in the state,” Madagali added.
