Adamawa state Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa George Farauta, has urged traditional rulers to continue on the path of peaceful co-existence.
Farauta spoke in Zekun on Saturday at a civic reception in honor of Hon Titus Solomon, Commissioner for Rural Infrastructure and community Development.
She expressed felicitation with the commissioner, remarking that government appreciates people living in peace with one another.
According to her, Governor Ahmadu Fintiri is pleased with the Commissioner, which made government dignitaries to travel all the way to falicitate with him.
“We pray God will open more doors for the Commissioner, so he can serve the state and the nation even better. I wish to urge all of us that it is important to have Adamawa at heart,” Farauta said.
She urged traditional rulers to canvass youths to back to the farm as the rains set in.
Hon David Tahula, chairman central planning committee, said the celebration marks exemplary achievement and commitment to the good of the community of the celebrant.

Chief Felix Tangwami, Commissioner of Health and Human Services, used the event to thank the state Deputy Governor for her role in canvassing more votes from the area in the last general elections. ##
