The training includes fashion designing
laundry/drycleaning and catering/confectionaries.

Speaking while distributing the empowerment equipment, the youth leader commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Director General and Chief Executive Officer of SMEDAN Mr. Charles Odii for considering the youths who are the most vulnerable group in the society.

Abubakar expressed optimism that with the collaboration between the agency and his office, the gesture will go a long way to solve unemployment in the state as the beneficiaries will also become employers of labour.

He added that the youths who have various entrepreneurial skills and productivity, under the programme will be self-employed and other youths will get training from them.

The Youth leader urged beneficiaries to be hard working, and take advantage of such training as it will add value to their life and make them useful to the society.

Some of the beneficiaries while responding during the program, commended the President, DG SMEDAN and appreciated the State Youth leader of the APC for facilitating the empowerment.
