The Adamawa State Government says it has rolled out many programs to bring succour to its citizens.
The state Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa George Farauta said during the 36th Gongola Baptist Conference held at Kwanan Waya in Yola, that payment for WAEC and NECO and busses provided by government are to ameliorate the current hardship faced by the citizens.
The Conference tagged, “Newness In Power, Purpose and Progress” was to afford the church an opportunity to come together for spiritual rejigging.
Farauta who attended the event along some Commissioners, sought more patience and prayers for leaders and all citizens as panacea for peace, unity and development.
“As believers, we should keep faith in government amidst current challenges,” Farauta said, assuring that the trials will surely come to pass.
She reiterated that as government it cannot rest until the safety and wellbeing of its citizens are guaranteed.
Earlier, Dr. Joel Manzo, President, Gongola Baptist Conference expressed concern over the enormous challenges facing the country.
Manzo urged the federal government to expedite action in protecting the citizens from the men of under world.
He advised Christians to support the developmental strides of the Adamawa State Givernment to pave way for advancement.
He sued for religious tolerance, mutual respect, love and peaceful coexistence among the ethno-religious divides for the Adamawa of everyone’s desire.
