The Speaker of Adamawa State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Bathiya Wesley, on behalf of all members of the Assembly, has congratulated Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri over the victory at the Supreme Court.
The Speaker in a Press Statement Issued by his chief press Secretary Hyellamada Bernard said the decision of the Supreme Court in upholding the election of Governor Fintiri is a confirmation of the people’s mandate.
The Speaker, while commending the Judiciary for living up to its obligation, said the governor will now concentrate on governance.
While calling on people of the state to continue to support the Fintiri administration, Rt Hon Bathiya Wesley maintained that the state Assembly under his leadership will continue to maintain Executive Legislature relationship for the peace, unity and development of the dear state.
He called on the opposition to join the fresh air administration in moving the state forward.
