2024 Democracy Day: Former Speaker Mijinyawa Calls For Support To Political Office Holders.

The Former Speaker Adamawa State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. KABIRU Mijinyawa has asked the people of the State to support the political office holders to enable them provide democracy devidends.

Rt. Hon. Mijinyawa who is the member representing Yola South Constituency in the 8th Adamawa Assembly stated this in a statement through his Senior Legislative Aide On Media and Public Affairs Hon. Hussaini Ahmadu Har in Yola, to commemorate the 2024 Democracy Day.

The lawmaker specifically congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Speaker of the House Rt. Hon. Bathiya Wesley, other members of the 8th Assembly, top Government functionaries and his Constituents on the occasion of 2024 Democracy Day and urged the people of the State to support their leaders to enable them deliver more devidends of democracy to the electorates.

The lawmaker who is the Chairman House of Assembly Committee on Agriculture, said in the last nine years, the administration of All Progressives Congress (APC) has provided stable leadership in the country.

The lawmaker while appreciating the cordially working relationship existing in the 8th assembly described the lawmakers of the House as “true democrats”
