Zulum Condoles Adamawa Over Jubril Aminu’s Demise
Borno State Governor Babagana Umar Zulum and other prominent sons of Borno state have joined other Nigerians in commiserating with government and people of Adamawa state over the death of erudite scholar and elder statesmen, Professor Jubril Aminu.
Zulum who was in Yola Tuesday and his entourage were at the palace of Lamido of Adamawa Dr Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Musdafa and the deceased residence where he appreciated diligent service rendered by the deceased, not only in Borno, but the entire country.
He noted with enthusiasm the contribution of the elder statesman to the growth and development of education, praying God to grant him AlJannatul Firdaus.
The Governor added, “We are here to comissurate with your humbleself (Lamido), the entire Emirate people and government of Adamawa.
“Professor Jibril Aminu, has served deligently not only Borno, but the entire country.
“The relationship between Borno state and the deceased can not be over emphasized.
“He has spent his numbers of days in Borno State in his contribution to the growth and development of education.”
The Governor prayed Almighty Allah to grant the deceased external life and the family to bear the irreparable loss.
In his remarks, the leader of the delegation, Alhaji Mohammed Indimi, who initiated the condolence visit described the death as a great loss.
The Nigerian businessman and philanthropist, stressed that the delegation would continue to offer prayers for the reposed of the deceased.

Responding on behalf of the Lamido the Galadima Adamawa, Alhaji Mustapha Aminu and the elder son of the deceased,Murtala Jibril Aminu thanked the delegation for identifying with the family, Emirate Council and the state during moment of grief.
